Peko PalChristmas Around the World
How do families mark Christmas in other countries? Page one starts with what Christmas is and who Saint Nicholas was, then visits six countries: Las Posadas in Mexico, the parol star lanterns of the Philippines, Sinterklaas in the Netherlands, the first decorated trees in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. Each one has a fact and a greeting, like ¡Feliz Navidad! Page two is a match-the-greeting game with the answers printed upside down. Every fact was checked against trusted sources.
