Does Peko Pal work with Android?

Not yet. The Peko Pal app, which you use to set up and manage a Peko Pal, is iPhone-only for now.

What you need

• An iPhone for the Peko Pal app.
• A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11 b/g/n). Almost every home router broadcasts one, including Wi-Fi 6 routers. A network that is 5 GHz only won't work. See Connecting your Peko Pal to WiFi.

What the app is for

You use the app to:

• set up the Peko Pal and connect it to Wi-Fi,
• approve your child's friends,
• choose which apps are on the device,
• set a volume limit,
• turn on and steer the AI, if you want it.

What the Peko Pal does on its own

Day to day, your child uses the Peko Pal by itself, with its buttons. The phone is for you. Stories and podcasts download to the device, so they play without Wi-Fi once they're on it.

Android

Peko Pal doesn't have an Android app yet. If someone in your home has an iPhone, they can set it up and manage it.
