Ask it. Print it.

Ask it for something. Then print it.

Peko Pal can do more than play stories. Your child can ask for tomorrow's forecast, a packing list, a coloring sheet or their own friend invite, and it comes out of your printer at home.

Things you might not expect from a kids' device

  • Pages made to fit your child

A list, itinerary, chart or invitation prints as a colorful page, designed for your child's conversation level. Little gets big friendly letters and cartoon pictures; Teen gets a cleaner look. The words on the page are your child's own.

  • Real dates and real forecasts

For calendars and forecasts, Peko looks up the real date and the real forecast, and works out a calendar's days itself.

  • Their own friend invite

With your permission, Peko can offer to print an invite for your child to hand to a friend. Nobody becomes a friend without your invite.

  • Answers pitched at their level

Ask a real-world question and Peko searches the web with a kid-safe filter, then answers in a sentence or two that fit your child's conversation level. Your child never sees a web page.

You decide what it can do

  • AI is optional

Peko only does these things when you turn the AI on, and you choose which parts: opening apps and settings, pictures and creations.

  • Pictures stay off until you turn them on

Pictures follow your child's conversation level and the topics you list to avoid, and you can see what they asked for and delete anything.

  • Print without the AI

The Printables app prints from the buttons, with the AI left off. Your child picks a page by ear and presses the action button.

  • Works with your home printer

Any WiFi printer, including most that say AirPrint on the box. Nothing to install.

All of this is set up in the Peko Pal app on your iPhone. How Peko Pal handles safety and privacy

Questions parents ask

What kind of printer do I need?
A printer that connects to WiFi. Most printers made in the last several years work, including ones that say AirPrint on the box. It needs to be on, and on the same WiFi network as the Peko Pal.
Can my child print without the AI?
Yes. The Printables app lets your child print the pages you added without asking Peko, with the buttons, and it works with Peko AI turned off.
What can my child ask Peko to print?
Anything they made with Peko, such as a story, a picture, a list, an itinerary, a chart, an invitation or a calendar. They say something like "print my story" and it comes out of your printer.
How are pictures kept safe?
Pictures follow your child's conversation level and the topics you list to avoid, and they're checked by automated moderation on the request and again on the finished picture. You can always see what your child asked for and delete a picture. No filter is perfect, so a quick look at anything important is a good habit.
What do I need to set it up?
An iPhone for the Peko Pal app and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Android isn't supported yet.
