# Recorder

Hold, talk, let go — and hear yourself back instantly.

Hold the action button to record your voice, a song, or anything else, then let go to hear it played straight back. Recording starts the instant the button goes down, every recording is kept to flip back through, and left and right play them in silly monster and chipmunk voices. Press left twice quickly to delete one; nothing is ever deleted on its own. It works without Wi-Fi, the microphone is only on while the button is held, and recordings stay on the device's SD card.

- **Ready the instant you press.** The light and a beep say "go", and the microphone is already listening.
- **Every recording kept.** New recordings never replace old ones; flip back through them with the d-pad.
- **Silly voices.** Play any recording back as a deep monster or a squeaky chipmunk.
- **Clear, even sound.** Noise reduction and automatic volume make quiet little voices easy to hear.
- **Fully offline.** Recordings stay on the device; nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere.

Recorder lets your child record their voice, a song, or anything else and hear it right back. They hold the action button: the light turns green and a beep says "ready for you", and the microphone is already listening. When they let go they hear a boop, then their recording. A quick tap plays the latest recording again.

Every recording is kept: a new one never replaces an old one. Up and down step through older and newer recordings, and left and right play the current one back in a deep monster voice or a squeaky chipmunk voice. Recordings are never deleted automatically: once Recorder is full (about 18 hours), holding the action button says "Recorder is full. Delete a recording to make room." and records nothing.

The microphone is on only while the button is held. Recordings are saved only on the Peko Pal's SD card and are never uploaded or sent anywhere; Recorder works fully offline.
