# Peko Packs

A Peko Pack is a themed set of apps, stories and radio stations picked to go together, like the Halloween Pack or the Bedtime Pack. Instead of finding each one in the store, you add the whole pack to your child's Peko Pal in one tap.

Packs only help you choose. Once a pack is added, each item is an ordinary app, story or station on the Pal, and your child finds it in the usual place. The Pal has no separate "pack" menu.

## Finding packs

In the Peko Pal app, open the **Store**. **Packs** is the first section. Tap a pack to see what's in it.

Packs are also on the website at [pekopal.com/store/packs](https://www.pekopal.com/store/packs), each with its own page.

## What's on a pack's page

- **What's in the pack.** Each item shows whether it is an app, a story or a radio station, and why it's in the pack. Tap any item to open its own page and read more about it.
- **Add to a Pal.** One button adds everything in the pack that isn't on the Pal yet.
- A line under the button tells you which of your Pals already have the whole pack.

## Adding a pack to a Pal

1. Open the pack and tap **Add to a Pal**.
2. If you have one Pal, the pack is added straight away. If you have more than one, choose the Pal from the list. A Pal that already has everything in the pack shows **Added**.
3. When it's done, the app tells you how many things were added. If anything couldn't be added, it lists what and why.

What happens to each kind of item:

- **Apps and stories** are added to the Pal's apps. They download the next time the Pal is online.
- **Radio stations** join the Pal's Radio lineup. If the Pal doesn't have the Radio app yet, it is added with those stations. See [Radio](https://www.pekopal.com/guide/app-radio).
- **Printables** join the Pal's Printables app. If the Pal doesn't have it yet, it is added with those pages. See [Printables](https://www.pekopal.com/guide/app-printables).
- **Podcasts** needs you to choose a show, so it isn't added with the rest of the pack. Its row says **Set this one up from its page in the Store.** Tap it to choose a show.

Anything already on the Pal is skipped, so adding a pack twice doesn't make copies.

## Opening a pack from a link or QR code

A link to a pack (for example from the website, a message or a social media post) opens the pack in the Peko Pal app on an iPhone that has the app. On the website, the **Add this pack in the Peko Pal app** button does the same. On a computer, scan the QR code on the pack's page with your iPhone's camera.

If the app isn't installed, the link opens the pack's page on the website instead.

## Removing things later

There is nothing to remove as a pack. Remove any item the usual way: apps and stories from the Pal's apps in the Peko Pal app (see [Apps](https://www.pekopal.com/guide/apps)), stations from the Pal's Radio settings, and printables from the Pal's Printables settings.

## Good to know

- Packs are part of the Peko Pal app's Store and the website. Nothing about how your child uses the Pal changes.
- The Peko Pal app is for iPhone.
